2. place the adf paper chute to about 45 degrees. insert the adf paper chute to auto feeder holes on the document cover as shown in figure 2-4.
3. pull out the wire leg under the paper chute.
4. pull out the paper chute extension to the length you wish.

adf output paper rack installation
1. hold the output paper rack some 30 degrees as shown in figure 2-5.
2. insert the three clasp-joints on the output paper rack in their respective places on the adf.
3. release the paper rack gently. make sure the rack is firmly attached to the adf.
4. pull out the output paper rack extension to the length you want.
