isdn and ip endpoints cannot directly communicate with each other. therefore, a gateway is used to enable communication between h.323 (ip) and h.320 (isdn) systems.
to call an isdn number from an ip endpoint, you dial the gateway.s service number and then the isdn number. consult with your system administrator.
