no audio through computer speakers

    to hear editing audio through your computer's speakers, connect the dvstorm analog audio output to your soundcard's line input and make sure your soundcard's line input is not muted.

    no audio while scrubbing

    is scrub with audio in the settings menu checked?

    note that scrubbing performance is better without audio. timeline playback and filter preview still play with audio.

    no audio during playback

    make sure that the analog audio output of the dvstorm is connected to either a device with speakers or the line input of your sound card. if it is connected to your sound card's line input, make sure that input is not muted in the windows volume control.

    check that you have not applied filters that mute the audio. any of the audio filters can mute the audio, and the slow motion video filter also mutes audio.

    audio skips or repeats

    you may have too many effects going on at one time and the playback is dropping frames. render transitions and/or video filters until you can play the timeline back normally.

    cannot select record to track 3,4 from ex audio 2 (32 khz)

    this is normal. dvstorm cannot output 4-channel dv audio.
