
the moviemaker 200 as illustrated in figure 1, is a pci video and audio encoding board. depending on the brand of your computer, default bios settings and other installed devices, you might have to enable a pci slot and assign an irq value before installing the moviemaker 200.
to install the moviemaker 200 with pb-5
1. confirm that the computer is switched off.
2. remove the cover from the computer.
3. select a pci slot and remove the slot cover.
4. observing standard electrostatic grounding precautions, insert the moviemaker 200 with pb-5 board into the vacant slot and secure with the screw from the previously removed slot cover.
5. audio connections: use the audio feature cable provided (catalog number wca3569) as illustrated in figure 2, to connect the unbalanced audio source (red - right, black or white - left) to the micro d15 of the moviemaker 200, marked 'audio'.
when connecting the micro d15 connector to the moviemaker 200, make sure you use a suitable slotted screwdriver to firmly tighten the screws. do not over turn the screws.

6. video connections: connect the video source as follows:
· s-video. use the 2xbnc minidin cable (catalog number wca3132) as illustrated in figure 3, to connect an s-video source to the moviemaker 200 - cable labeled 'y’ to connector 'comp/y’ and cable labeled 'c’ to connector 'c’ (figure 12).

· composite. use the 75°bnc cable (catalog number bza3636) as illustrated in figure 4, to connect a composite source to the moviemaker 200.

7. once all the cable connections have been correctly made, replace the cover on the computer.
8. switch on the computer.
