the 2608, 2610, 2612 and 2613 mainstreet dtus are class a products. in a domestic environment they may cause radio interference. appropriate measures should be taken.

    to meet class a emc requirements, observe the following:

    2608 and 2610 mainstreet dtus

    install a large ferrite block around each pair of device port cables as close to the connectors as possible. see section 2.2.

    2612 mainstreet dtu

    install a large ferrite block around each device port cable as close to the rs-232/v.24 connectors as possible. see section 2.2.

    2613 mainstreet dtu

    install a large ferrite block around each device port cable as close to the x.21 or v.35 connectors as possible. see section 2.2.

    install a small ferrite block to the line cable as close to the line connector as possible. see section 2.2.

    shielded device port cables should be used with the 2602 mainstreet dtu.
