this section describes the installation procedure and the location of connectors for the 2601, 2602, 2603, 2608, 2610, 2612 and 2613 mainstreet dtus.

    to meet emc regulations:

    1 cables connected to the device port on the 2601, 2602 and 2603 mainstreet dtus must be shielded

    2 db25 termination connectors (part number 90-2919-01) must be connected to any unused 2603 or 2613 mainstreet v.35 connector

    3 ferrite blocks (enclosed with the dtu shipment) must be attached to:

    1 device port cables for the 2602, 2612 and 2613 mainstreet dtus, and each pair of device port cables for the 2608 and 2610 mainstreet dtus

    2 line connector cables for 2601, 2602, 2603 and 2613 mainstreet dtus

    when used with a newbridge external power supply (part number 90-0316-xx), the 2601, 2602 and 2603 mainstreet dtus meet class b emc requirements.
