several matrox effects provide a "color picker" button to let you choose the color you want for the effect, such as the border color for an advanced dve.

   

    when you click a button, the color dialog box appears:

   

    to select your color:

    1 click one of the basic colors on the left side of the dialog box, or click the color you want inside the color refinement box.

    2 adjust your color's luminance by clicking inside the luminance bar or by dragging the arrow beside it.

    3 alternatively, if you know your desired color's hue, saturation, and luminance values, or red, green, and blue values, you can enter them in the corresponding text boxes.
