you can export dv material from your adobe premiere timeline to tape using device control over the 1394 interface on matrox rt.x100.

    1.on most systems, you'll be able to perform a realtime export to tape.

    2.some systems, however, may have problems with the realtime export, such gray blocks or system sluggishness. if this happens, disable the realtime export by clearing enable realtime export to tape in the matrox advanced settings dialog box as explained in "selecting your dv-1394 settings" on page 44.
