dpsvelocity comes bundled with sound forge xp to give you access to advanced audio editing features and effects.

    sound forge is a dedicated sound editing software package with many advanced audio editing functions. if you want to do very precise audio editing you may find it easier to use sound forge to do your audio editing.

    you may also use sound forge to add special effects to your audio.

    you can open your dva files in sound forge and edit the audio portion of the file without changing the video image portion of the file. you can also edit avi or wav files. if you have an audio file in another file format and you want to use it in velocity you can use sound forge to convert the file to a wav format.
