the first time you launch dpsvelocity, a window will open allowing you to set preferences for each subsequent time you launch the software.

   

    tip: for quick startup select the following:

    - startup method: "prompt at startup: new project or load existing project"

    - check both new project options

    you should then click ok. a window will open with 2 buttons: new project and load existing project. click the new project button and give your project a name. use the browse button at the end of the project system folder project to select a system drive (if you have more than one drive do not select your c: drive) and a media volume. folders and default i/o folders will be created for you and an information screen will open. click the ok button to start working on your project.
