should dpsvelocity close unexpectedly, for example because of a power failure, dpsvelocity can recover your files. the entire project is recovered based on one of the options below. after a crash, the next time you open dpsvelocity, this window opens:

   

    click ok to open the most recent crash recovery file.

    if there are other backup files associated with the project, you can later access them via file ] timeline ] recover. a window opens:

   

    crash recovery (timeline_backupx.btle)

    last saved (timeline.btle)

    backup 1 (timeline_backup1.btle)

    backup 2 (timeline_backup2.btle)

    timeline_backupx.btle is strictly the "auto saved" timeline used for crash recovery. clicking "save" does not affect it. it is updated at automatic intervals based on your settings in the general preferences.

    timeline_backup1.btle and timeline_backup2.btle are not affected by "auto save" only by clicking the save button timeline_backup1.btle will always be the most recent backup timeline.

    the chosen option is saved into timeline.tle and the project is opened normally
