the dpsvelocity interface has four main areas: timelines, galleries, the trim window and the vu meters. each of these areas has settings, buttons and sliders specific to that area. in addition, the menus, buttons, and mouse and keyboard shortcuts give you access to most functions.

    clips can be organized into galleries and timelines, and galleries and timelines can be organized into bins. a version of a project can contain up to 50 galleries and 50 timelines, although only 20 of each can be open at one time.

    a bin is a window that contains at least one tabbed gallery or timeline.

    adding more bins to your project will not increase the number of galleries or timelines you can have open at a time. bins are for organizational purposes only.
