you can edit timecode and reel name information for video clips in the gallery or timeline by right clicking the clip and selecting edit time-code.

   

    in the edit timecode box is an apply to all instances check box. if this is checked and you change the clip info on the timeline this information will be updated on any copies of the gallery also.
