if you are not using dv inputs and wish to use timecode capture or batch capture, you must have an rs-422 controllable vtr. connect rs-422 to a com port on your computer and to the deck you intend to capture from, with the vtr in slave mode to the computer.

    you can input either ltc or vitc timecode.
