from the main menu, choose file] import ] image sequence, or right click with the mouse in the gallery and choose import ] image sequence. a window opens:
when you click an image file in the list, it appears in the preview window.
choose the image sequence you wish to import. select add or add all to add the selected individual frames to your list of selected files. the separate frames will be placed in the resulting dps file in the order they appear in this window, so if after selecting them you wish to reorder them numerically, click the sort button.
if you want to import all the frames in a sequence, highlight the first frame and select add all, or you can import an entire folder by highlighting the folder and selecting the add dir button.
if you have previously used import image sequence, and created a settings profile, you can load a profile by pressing the load button in the profiles section of the screen. otherwise, you can create your own. click the settings button to select various image sequence preferences. a window with three tabs appears.
the image sequence tab has the same information as the batch import tab does for import multimedia video/audio. see p. 95 for settings for this tab, the video tab and the alpha tab.
select the import sequence tab. enter a clip name for your completed file.
the dps file extension will automatically be added. if you do not change the output (dps) file name, an original name will be assigned automatically.
press the ok button to save your settings or cancel to delete them. if you want to save the settings to use for future projects, you must select save under profiles, and you will be asked to give the profile a name.
click on the import button. a progress bar keeps you abreast of the computer's progress in creating the new file. when importing is complete, the new dps file appears in the gallery.
