
right click in the gallery and select live clip. a bitmap file named live.bmp is added to the gallery.
when you place the live clip on the timeline and enable live mode, you can view and output a live video input mixed with titles, still images and precaptured audio and video.
if live mode is not enabled on the timeline, the live.bmp clip is mixed "as is" with the rest of your clips when you play back to the monitor or the trim window.
live clips can be used for live broadcast and for streaming to the web. if you have a panasonic wj-mx20 mixer, you can switch between up to four different inputs from the dpsvelocity interface. for more information on working with live clips, please see chapter 11.
