1. switch off and unplug the printer.

    2. open the printer cover.

    3. remove the screw by the side of the print head lift lever.

    4. open the printer print head lift lever.

    5. remove the media and ribbon. (if loaded)

    6. using a swab soaked in the dilute alcohol, wipe along the print head

    carefully.

    7. do not close the print head until the alcohol volatilizing.

    8. close the printer cover.
