on power up of the scanner, the amber light will flash for approximately 15 seconds, then the green light will turn on. at that point the internal scanner lights will turn on. the scanner is now ready for use.

   

    on initial installation, action imaging solutions recommends that the scanner be fully calibrated. this calibration is a two-step process that will "stitch" the cameras together and do the white balance for the scanner. please note that all colotrac scanners need white balance calibration, and all but the 3640e need stitching, for more details on calibration please see section # 6.
