if the scanner has been transported, then an alignment of the cameras may be necessary. this alignment can be carried out automatically by inserting the "auto-stitch" target. follow the insertion details on the target itself, into the scanner and select the option on the host software to carry out the auto-stitch operation.

   

    please note that the 3640e has no auto-stitch function because it has one camera.
