it is important to mount the snap server correctly. the unit weighs 75 pounds and should be installed into a rack by two or more people. use of the provided rear support brackets is highly recommended.

    to install the snap server into a rack:

    1. remove the snap server from the shipping carton.

   

    2. install the two supplied rack mounting ears securely to the left and

    right side of the snap server using the 12 black screws provided in the

    rack mounting kit.

    3. thread the included quick release rack mountingstuds into the rack at the desired height.

    4. while two people hold the snap server, a third person should secure the unit into front of the rack using the 4 quick release fasteners provided.

    5. complete the installation by securing the rear mount supports to the rack rails with the 2 screws provided in the rack mounting kit.

    slide mount rails can also be used to install the snap server into a standard 19” rack, allowing easier access. please contact snap server sales for manufacturers and part numbers.
