Setting up Trusted and Forbidden Domains
to allow access to a web site which appears in the web site filter, type its host name, such as www.ok-site.com, into trusted domains box. do not use the complete url of the site, that is, do not include http://. all subdomains are allowed. for example, adding 3com.com also allows www.3com.com, my.support.3com.com,
shop.3com.com and so forth. up to 256 entries are supported in the trusted domains list. click update to send the update to the internet firewall.
to block a web site which does not appear in the web site filter, type its host name, such as www.bad-site.com into the forbidden domains box. do not use the complete url of the site, that is, do not include http://. all subdomains are blocked. for example, adding 3com.com also blocks www.3com.com, my.support.com, shop.3com.com and so forth. click update to send the update to the internet firewall.
to remove a site which was previously added, select its name in the list box, and click delete domain to send the update to the internet firewall. users can no longer access that site from the lan.
