when working with some devices, such as the diskette drive, you must first remove the bezel to access the device.

    complete the following steps to remove the bezel:

    1. remove the side cover (“removing the side cover” on page 31).

    2. locate the bezel-release lever; then, press the bezel-release lever toward the front of the computer.

    3. pull the top of the bezel away from the chassis; then, push the bezel down to disengage the bottom tabs.

    4. remove the bezel from the computer and store the bezel in a safe place.
