you can obtain the bios flash utility wfflash. exe and the new bios binary file directly from our web site (www. leadtek.com.tw). please follow the steps below to update the bios.

    1. reboot into dos or command prompt only of windows 95/98/me/nt/2000/xp.

    2. put the wfflash.exe and the bios binary file you downloaded in the same directory.

    3. change to the above directory and type the following command:

    wfflash. exe [filename] ([filename] means the file name of bios binary file, usually xxx. rom.)

    4. a dialog box will appear on the screen, asking you ifyou want to update the bios.

    type y to update the bios. type n if you don't want to update the bios.

    5. the screen will disappear for 5 ～ 10 seconds during the updating process. do not take any action before the updating is finished. otherwise you may encounter severe problems and need to have the card sent for repair.

    6. after the updating is completed, you must reboot your computer.

    the updating must be done under the dos prompt. please do the following to enter the dos environment: press and hom ctrl key before windows starts. the startup menu will appear. select command prompt only.
