Non-HMC-Attached System Error Interrogation
when the system attention light comes on, examine the aix error log to see if user intervention is required. if the system is powered down, examine the service processor error log. if the aix error log indicates service is required, or there are entries in the service processor error log, your service representative will address the problem.
if service is required, and call home is not enabled on the system, call your service representative.
the system attention led can be reset by following either of the procedures described in “resetting the system attention led on non-hmc attached systems” or “resetting the system attention led on hmc-attached systems”.
