    after choosing which adapter to use to ping the remote system, and setting its parameters, you must provide the addresses needed to communicate with the remote system.

    if changes to the adapter parameters must be made in this screen, entering those changes will not automatically update the adapter parameters screen. go back to the adapter parameters menu to make any changes.

    1. after the ping test is initiated, it might take up to 60 seconds to return a result.

    2. when the ping test completes, the firmware stops and waits for a key to be pressed before continuing.
