Make an Installation Diskette
installation disks are useful when you are loading drivers on systems that do not have a cd drive or a network connection. you can create installation disks using the makedisk utility or by directly copying the appropriate files to a floppy disk.
the makedisk utility copies the appropriate driver software for desktop, server, mobile and wireless lan products, for the following operating systems:
1 windows
2 netware
3 dos, dos odi
each adapter supports a specific subset of these operating systems.
some of these installations may require two floppy disks.
you can run makedisk either from either a command prompt or from the autorun program on the intel cd (or downloaded intel software package):
