1 insert the intel cd in the cd-rom drive. the cd's autorun program automatically starts. (if you are staring with a downloaded installation package, navigate to the respective directory using your windows explorer program.)

    2 to start the autorun program manually, double-click autorun.exe in the root directory of the intel media (cd or downloaded software package).

    3 click make driver disk.

    4 if you are prompted for the adapter type, select the adapter type and click ok. the create install disk dialog appears.

    5 select the name of the target operating system.

    6 in the destination drive drop-down list, click the appropriate drive.

    7 insert a blank disk into the disk drive then click create disk.
