if the plug-and-play software does not recognize the adapter, you can manually add the adapter.

    1 right-click network neighborhood and select properties.

    2 click add.

    3 select adapter.

    4 click add.

    5 select the manufacturer and adapter type.

    6 click ok.

    7 when prompted, restart the computer.
