the cp-168u board has 1 gnd wire that is shared with 6 pins (32, 40, 45, 50, 55, and 58), none of which is assigned to a particular port (since there are 8 ports, but only 6 gnd pins). if you are building your own cable, you are free to use any of the gnd pins with any of the ports.
