the system information screen (shown in figure 5-1) contains key information about the viewstation.

on the system information screen, the following information is provided. the information cannot be changed from this screen.
1 system name: the system name is the name assigned to the viewstation by the lan manager or the viewstation administrator. to change this information go to system info ] admin setup ] general setup.
2 video numbers: video numbers are the isdn, dcp, and v.35 numbers assigned to the viewstation.
the isdn numbers are set in system info ] admin setup ] video network ] imux ] numbers for the viewstation h.323 with quad bri or avaya dcp.

for the viewstation 128: system info ] admin setup ] video network ] isdn video network.
1 phone number: this is the phone number assigned to the viewstation if the voice conference feature is used. to set a phone number, go to system info ] admin setup ] phone/audio.
2 lan host name: the lan host name is the name assigned to the viewstation for tcp/ip configuration. to set the lan host name, go to system info ] admin setup ] lan/h.323 ] lan/intranet.
3 ip address: the ip address assigned to the viewstation is ssigned automatically through a dhcp server or is set manually (static). to manually set the ip address, go to system info ] admin setup ] lan/h.323 ] lan/intranet.
4 software version: this displays the software version and the date and time of the software release. additional information on the viewstation software version is located at system info ] admin setup ] software/hardware ] software.
5 serial number: the viewstation serial number is unique to each viewstation. this number is also located on a bar code label on the bottom of the viewstation unit. this number cannot be modified.
6 model: the viewstation model type is displayed.
