you can mirror traffic from any source port to a capture port for real-time analysis. it allows the capture port and source port can be set in different vlan groups. but note that the capture port can't join in any trunking group, else it will cause a loop. the screel shown as figure 10.
the source port can be the 1st ~ 17th port or the 1st ~ 4th trunk group.
1 key-in the number from 1 to 17 that stands for the port 1 to port 17.
2 key-in the number 26 that stands for the trunk group 1
2 key-in the number 27 that stands for the trunk group 2
4 key-in the number 28 that stands for the trunk group 3
5 key-in the number 29 that stands for the trunk group 4
if the trunk group be set as source port, it may cause the packet loss.
mirror capture port will be isolated to a vlan, and it can receive traffic from mirror source port only but not from others.
mirror capture port can't join to port trunking group at the same time.
