mib (management information base) is a set of database objects that contains information about the device. it is responsible for processing status words received from each port. based on whether it is a receive status or transmit status, appropriate nib counters will be updated.

    you can view the nib counter statistics through each port as the following figure.

    type the port number (1～17) for which you want to view the port counter. the screen be shown as figure 11, it will displays transmit(tx) counter and receive(rx) counter.
