use
1. to define the data channel parameters, type:
def ch [enter]
the channel parameters data form is displayed. a typical form is shown below:

2. change the parameter values as follows:
(1) use the spacebar to bring the cursor to the beginning of the first field.
(2) to change the selected field, press [f] or [b] to scroll among the available selections.
(3) when the desired selection is displayed, press the spacebar to move to the next field.
if you select ts_map = user, you can skip startts field (see below).
3. when done, press [enter].
fcd-2 will display current time and date, followed by the fcd-2 prompt.
if the ts_map (timeslot mapping) has been set to user, after you press [enter], you will see the timeslot map of the channel being currently configured. a typical display is shown below:

(1) use the spacebar to move between timeslots. for each timeslot, select between y (timeslot allocated to the current channel) and n (not connected) by pressing [f] or [b].
(2) when the timeslot map is completed, press [enter] to end.
next time you enter the def ch data form, you will see the correct start ts number (the number of the first timeslot set to y).
