the diagnostics power-up self-test is used to identify the failure detected during the regular power-up self-test.

    →to initiate diagnostics power-up self-test:

    1. set the dbg jumper to on.

    2. turn on fcd-2.

    in the debug mode, testing stops when a problem is detected and fcd-2 displays the failed test name:

    1 database test

    2 i/o port test

    3 counter test

    4 sfifo test

    after noting the failed test name, can continue the self-test procedure by pressing scroll.
