1 computer data and still pictures (jpeg, tiff) cannot be erased.

    2 erase does not work if one or more programs are protected.

   

    1 do not disconnect the ac power supply cord while the message “formatting the disc” is on the television. this can render the disc unusable.

    2 formatting normally takes a few minutes, however it may take up to a maximum of 70 minutes.

    3 the contents on the disc are erased when you format it even if you have set program or disc protection.

    4 it may not be possible to use a disc on this unit if you cannot format it.

    5 formatting cannot be performed on dvd-r or cd-r/rw.

    to stop formatting

    press [return].

    you can cancel formatting if it takes more than 2 minutes. the disc must be reformatted if you do this.

    2 finalizing takes up to 15 minutes.

    after finalizing..

    1 you cannot record or perform editing such as giving titles and erasing programs.

    2 programs longer than 5 minutes are divided into about five-minute chapters.

    3 these dvd-r can be played on other panasonic dvd players, but this is not guaranteed. play may not be possible due to the player you are using, the dvd-r, or the condition of the recording. play the disc using this unit if you experience problems with other equipment.
