panasonic dvd players and recorders use the same remote control system so they may respond unintentionally to a command from this remote control. change the code on this unit and its remote control (the two must match) if you place equipment close together.

    use “1”, the factory set code, under normal circumstances.

    1 while stopped

    press [setup] to show the menus.

   

   

    5 while pressing [enter] on the remote control, press the numbered button ([1], [2] or [3]) corresponding to the code you selected in step 4.

    the remote control code on the remote control has been set.

    6 press [setup]

    the following display appears when you use a remote control with a different code.

   

    if you are trying to use this unit’s remote control, change its code to match the unit’s (→step 5).
